Terms of use

How you and Brainback agree to work together. Written to be read, not skimmed.

These terms govern your use of the Brainback service. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to use the product. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with others.

Acceptable use

Do not use Brainback to violate your institution’s academic-integrity policy, or to submit work you’re required to produce independently. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time from the customer portal. Refunds within 7 days of a first charge, no questions asked.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is capped at the amount you’ve paid us in the preceding 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll notify you materially in advance of changes that affect your rights. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
