Brainback Labs, Inc. (“Brainback,” “we,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what your choices are.

Information we collect

Account information — email, display name, plan tier.

Usage information — sessions, messages, recall cards, explain-backs, scores.

Technical information — IP address, browser, device — used for security and rate-limiting, not profiling.

How we use it

To provide and improve the service. To bill paid subscriptions. To communicate with you about your account. To detect and prevent abuse.

Sharing

We share your data with the vendors listed on our subprocessors page — Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel, Supabase, and a small number of others. Each vendor is contractually bound to appropriate data-handling practices.

No training on your data

We do not use your content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model — ours or anyone else’s. All Anthropic API calls sit inside Anthropic’s zero-retention product tier.

Your choices

You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time. Contact privacy@brainback.app.

Children under 13

Brainback is not directed at children under 13 in the United States, or under the applicable age in other jurisdictions. If you are a parent and believe your child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will notify you materially in advance of any changes to this policy that affect your rights.
